Kelsey and Gabe

Cassie and Charlie

On January 7th 2017, Kelsey and Gabe said “I Do”.

Kelsey and Gabe had their beautiful wedding held at the Gale Mansion in Minneapolis. Thanks much to wedding photographer Jeanine Marie for the amazing shots!

Kelsey and Gabe had a morning wedding ceremony because it’s an English tradition (Kelsey’s family is British) and because the couple loves brunch and mimosas! These two planned their wedding from their home in Florida and wanted their venue to have a warm, welcoming feel that captures what they love about Minnesota. One of the bridesmaids, Megan, and her daughter, Chloe, toured Gale Mansion for them. Megan and Chloe agreed the mansion was perfect. As Chloe put it, “Kelsey and Gabe should have their ball here!” So it was settled. Their winter wedding was perfect! A few highlights include a horse-drawn carriage with Johmar Farms, sunshine to warm up the cold January day, and the huge smiles on Kelsey and Gabe’s faces all day long! Seriously, look at the photos- ear to ear grins in almost every single photo! Too cute!

Kelsey and Gabe met back in 2011 on their first day of medical school at the University of Minnesota. Kelsey’s red hair caught Gabe’s attention and Gabe’s leather jacket caught Kelsey’s attention. In November of 2015, Gabe proposed to Kelsey with her great-grandmother’s ring! The ring was originally purchased by Kelsey’s great-grandfather in celebration of returning home to his wife after surviving World War I. It has since been passed down to the eldest daughter of each generation. How amazing is that!?
